The Principal Investigator Advisory Committee (PIAC) consists of twelve (12) currently active principal investigators, each of whom utilizes the services of the Research Foundation. The Chief Executive Officers of System Members that have a minimum of four (4) million dollars in expenditures per year through projects administered by the Research Foundation are each eligible to nominate to the Research Foundation Board of Trustees a minimum of one member to serve on PIAC. Nominations for the remaining positions on PIAC are distributed pro rata among the eligible System Member Chief Executive Officers based upon the System Members’ respective levels of project expenditures through the Research Foundation. Members of PIAC serve three year terms. The PIAC provides advice and information to the Research Foundation Board of Trustees concerning the level of services provided by the Research Foundation to its stakeholders.  Please contact a member of PIAC to provide feedback regarding the Research Foundation's service levels; to provide other relevant information; or to make suggestions to PIAC concerning the Research Foundation's services.
