This section will show you how to change your username from the one assigned to you by the system to something easier to remember; to change your password see Changing your Password. You must have requested a login ID to use this section, see Acquiring a Login ID if you have not.

1. Log into InfoEd at http://rf-infoed1.tamu.edu.
2. To change your username to something easier to manage once you are successfully logged in, click Profile from the navigational bar.
3. Scroll down to the very bottom under Security and click the button on the right.
4. A window will pop up. Fill in the Username field and click the button to change your username.

Please note that the username must be at least 8 characters to be accepted by the system.
