Acquiring
a Login ID and Password
| This
section is for first time users of the TAMRF e-RAMP system. Here you
will learn how to request a login ID so that you can access
the system and begin to use the system's tools to facilitate
your research administration. |
- Open
your computer’s internet browser and go to http://rf-infoed1.tamu.edu
- Select
Get
Profile on the left navigation bar.
- Select
your state or province from the list and click Continue.
- Select
your institution from the list and click Continue.
- Open
the profile listing by clicking Set. Your profile is stored under your
name; names are ordered in alphabetical order by last name.
- Find
your name under the appropriate letter and click Select. If your name is
not listed, please email
e-RAMP@rf-mail.tamu.edu
for assistance.
- Select
Yes,
this is my profile and click Continue to complete profile
set-up. Your login name and password will be emailed to the address
in your profile. Figure
1 below shows an example profile just before completion.

- Your
login information will be emailed to you. When you receive it,
log into InfoEd to make sure that it works correctly.
