Mr. H. Jarrell Gibbs, who has served as a Trustee since 2004, is our newly elected Chairman. Mr. Gibbs joined the Research Foundation as a Councilor in 2001. Mr. Gibbs holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration in Finance and a Masters degree in Management and Administration from Texas A&M University and is a graduate of Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.

Mr. Gibbs retired in June 2003 as Vice Chairman of TXU Corporation located in Dallas, Texas, after serving 22 years in various executive positions. He also served over 20 years in the U.S. Army.

He is a member of the Board of Trustees of York College and a member of the Board of Directors of TenX Technologies. He also serves as Chairman for the Aggie Spirit Development Council in Texas A&M University's "One Spirit One Vision" one billion dollar capital campaign; a member of the Board of Visitors for the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets; the Advisory Council for the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine Leadership Council; the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets Leadership Council; and the Corps Development Council.
